Swarm Captures

Free

Honeybee colonies reproduce by swarming. The original queen and a large portion of the workers will leave the hive and encamp in a bivouac, often in a tree, while scout bees locate a suitable location to establish a new hive.

We will come collect a swarm of honeybees from your property. Please text a photo of the swarm if possible.

Sometimes colonies will encamp too high for retrieval which may prevent swarm capture but we will come place a bait hive.

Colony Removals

Free

Honeybees often take up residence inside of walls of buildings. This is a major problem for the property owner. Unlike yellowjackets and other wasps, honeybees live year round and will continue to occupy a nest site for years. Exterminators will kill the colony but the dead bees and larvae will rot and the honey will ferment making a mess inside of your walls.

We provide colony relocation service via cut-outs. This often requires removing siding, fascia, sheetrock, etc. to gain access to the colony. Homeowner is responsible for repairs after cut-out.

On-Site Services

Fees may apply

Many locations from public gardens to apple orchards can benefit from having honyebee colonies located on-site.

We can manage your colonies or bring new hives to your location for year round management.

Please understand that frequent access is required to maintain healthy colonies.
